How to control DADman from SoundFlow

I want to see if there are possibilities to control DADman from a streamdeck (which i ordered and is coming tomorrow)

I would like to be able to select fold downs that I created to solo/mute my 7.1.4 speakers. Something like "speaker monitor controller/selector”.

I did try few basic thing like creating macros, using UI Elements, but it seems not possible to click on the particular box that will trigger fold down.

I also read thru forum and didn’t see one DADman questions but was glad to see that you created package that has DADman involved so hopefully you know what I am talking about.

I also follow one forum discussion about Dolby Atmos renderer and realise that you cannot do much about some app’s if you don’t have acces to it's internal programming. Perhaps is the same situation with DADman.
I am very curious to hear if it’s possible to get any control of this app, as well as Dolby renderer.

I am attaching screenshot where you can see fold downs in the centre/bottom part. Ideally, every of the created FD’s would have it’s own knob on streamdeck and be able to activate it even if the DADman is not in the front.

Following, I have Dadman as well. Never thought about utilizing SF / SD to control it. Sounds good!

          Hi Nenad

I think there are a few people who've used relative mouse positioning to control DADman, but that obviously is not very stable.

We've actually reached out to the makers of DADman - NTP - they have offices not too far from us here in Copenhagen. Unfortunately, they've not been able to come back with a positive response on an integration yet. But I'll make a note to continue the effort :)

Thanx Christian, pitty those apps are not available for streamflow propper editing (yet).

I would like to ask one thing about the standard keycommands that are installed with SF:
I realise that many of pro tools standard KC are changed if SF is running; is there a way to disable that as i am used to many regular schortcats? I see I can bypass it but can I also turn them off?

              1. Hi Nenad,

Yes certainly - you have full control over the shortcuts SF has set up.

Please see this video to understand how it works:

Hey, any developement on this matter?
I have spoke to them sometimes, I can try to reach out too.
Also does they relationship with avid did not bring this subject a more relevant matter?

                  1. Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for reminding us of this. Unfortunately, NTP weren't ready to help with the changes we suggested back when I last checked. Hopefully we'll be able to revisit this later in 2022.

I may try to reach Mikael Vest; he visit me once here, loves Brazil... kkk
And he help me a lot integrating DAD AX32 in to my workflow back in 2015, before avid come onboard.
May I? What should I ask them? Totally re-design of DadMan interface. LOL :)

                        1. Absolutely, please feel free to reach out to Mikael. He's one of the people I spoke to as well. If they hear this coming more directly from users it would be easier for us to push for a solution :)
