Open, Select Preset, Render & Close - AudioSuite plugins

    Hi

I am trying to use the "Open, Select Preset, Render & Close - AudioSuite plugins" script that I downloaded from the store. It works fine except I get an error when I try to enter a preset. Soundflow fails to find the preset. I wonder am i entering something in correctly? I am just typing in the preset name in this field. If I save my preset as the user default in the plugin then it works as I would like but I would like to have a few differnt versions of this same script with differnt settings. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Garret

    1. Hi Garret,

Thanks for reporting this. I think this particular package has an issue with presets that we're still trying to fix.

You can try to use one of the other AudioSuite packages in the Store, AFAIK they work better with presets :)

Yeah, I've been having this trouble too and me and Christian have been trouble shooting. Download Nick Leyer's verison, there's a bit more to sort through to find the simple one you want but it works properly with presets, and he has a template in there to build your own easily.

Ah thanks everyone. So at least I'm not totally useless! I will try those other scripts that are mentioned.

            Thanks again

            Garret

Edit: Just wanted to add that the Nick Leyers scripts that Owen recommended worked a treat and are more flexible. Thanks everyone!

Having this issue also. Trying to run without preset works fine. Getting this error:

                  Hey all, @garret_farrell, @briannaas, @Owen_Granich_Young

I have uploaded a new version, 1.0.1, of this package which uses the built-in SF mechanism for selecting presets instead – which some reported worked better (this was how Nick Leyers' AudioSuite package works for example)

                  Hope this helps!

Awesome, this works for me now. Thanks Christian!

Can anyone please give me an example of how to properly fill out the Preset field?

                        1. Hi Robert,

If you have a preset inside a folder called "Roberts Presets" and a sub folder "Guitars" then a preset called "Acoustic Guitar" you would first enter "Roberts Presets", hit enter, then "Guitars", hit enter, and then "Acoustic Guitar" and hit enter.
If your preset is in the root (not in a sub folder), just enter the preset name and hit enter.

Nevermind! Figured out all it needs is the exact name of the Preset. I was way over thinking it and thought it required the entire disk path typed out. Thanks anyway though!
